A variety of materials in the form of rectangular blocks, intended to familiarise the student with the appearance, 'feel', texture, hardness and density of a range of common substances.

Kit contains blocks of materials in the following sizes:

  • Softwood, Hardwood, Paraffin Wax, Aluminium, Iron, Foamed Polystyrene: 50mm x 40mm x 30mm
  • Perspex, Glass, Slate, Aluminium, Softwood, Marble: 20mm x 20mm x 100mm 
  • Lead: 50mm x 50mm x 20mm
  • Aluminium: 50mm x 50mm x 80mm
  • Hardwood: 50mm x 50mm x 200mm
  • Brass: 20mm x 20mm x 50mm
  • Iron: 40mm x 40mm x 20mm.
